Closer Than You Think

Curiosa Cards

This is an Oracle Deck for Collaborative Leadership. The cards give you insight, reflection, and affirmation about any relationship you are building with a co-lead(s). This can be at any level - whether you are leading an organisation or collective, or working with others on a program or project. The cards are based on research with different co-leaders, experts, and practitioners.

They are co-created with Ruby Johnson and Amanda Gigler, with a group of international artists and creatives from around the world.

Forest as Gathering

Over two days, we collectively built on the metaphor of a mangrove to curate conversations and build a tree/forest installation in the room. These trees were made from fabric, paper, yarn - and populated with notes on stories, trends, strategies, visions, hopes, commitments as made/witnessed by the activists via the movements they are part of. A mangrove soundscape with birds and insects was playing at individual reflection and break time - helping transport participants into a different realm to reflect on their work and connections across issues, communities, and regions.

Co-designed with Nida Mushtaq.

Remember Who Made Them

A podcast, digital campaign, and fundraiser initiated to amplify the lives and voices of garment workers during the COVID-19 pandemic. Our 6 episodes covered topics like “Solidarity is Not a T-Shirt”, “Fashion has a Racism Problem”, “Feminist Fashion: Emanicipation or Exploitation”, “Actions Make Movements”, and “Capitalism is the Virus”.

Co-led with Venetia La Manna, Swatee Deepak, and Ruby Johnson + a phenomenal group of illustrators and creatives.
