For the past 15 years, I’ve worked feminist funds, social justice and non-profit organizations. I’ve held several roles all the way from Grantmaking Associate to Co-Executive Director and Board Co-Chair.

  • Using my facilitation, management, and writing skills, I enjoy co-creating strategies for social justice organizations. These projects focus on process, just as much as outcome to ensure teams and communities feel ownership and excitement for their strategies. This work has produced Strategic Plans, Business Plans, and Grantmaking Frameworks.

  • Bringing people together is important. I want gatherings to be meaningful and creative. I have facilitated online and in person meetings, from 10-100 people. These convenings focus on building relationships, exchanging experiences, and sharing reflections.

  • I offer a range of support to executive leaders and Boards. I use my experiences as a former Executive as current Board member to provide advising as well as facilitate different processes. This includes:

    • Dedicated support to Executives, particularly those working in co-leadership. This is done often in partnership with other professional coaches

    • Executive recruitment advice and design, also particularly for co-leadership models

    • Appraisal design and facilitation for Boards to review co-leaders

  • I have designed and conducted different research and documentation projects. This includes a scoping study for a new queer feminist fund, a flagship research report and tool gallery on co-leadership, and landscape study for young women and girls.

  • If I could just spend my life brainstorming on how to tell visual and engaging stories I would! I support my clients to publish and design their work with artistic flair and strategy. The combination of my own art skills and communications experiences enables me to be an effective ‘translator’ between organizations and creatives, and provide creative direction on different publications.

is a hybrid ideas studio and consultancy collective I co-founded. It works at the intersection of activism, philanthropy and art.

Curiosa Cards

This is an Oracle Deck for Collaborative Leadership. The cards give you insight, reflection, and affirmation about any relationship you are building with a co-lead(s). This can be at any level - whether you are leading an organisation or collective, or working with others on a program or project. The cards are based on research with different co-leaders, experts, and practitioners.

They are co-created with Ruby Johnson and Amanda Gigler, with a group of international artists and creatives from around the world.

Forest as Gathering

Over two days, we collectively built on the metaphor of a mangrove to curate conversations and build a tree/forest installation in the room. These trees were made from fabric, paper, yarn - and populated with notes on stories, trends, strategies, visions, hopes, commitments as made/witnessed by the activists via the movements they are part of. A mangrove soundscape with birds and insects was playing at individual reflection and break time - helping transport participants into a different realm to reflect on their work and connections across issues, communities, and regions.

Co-designed with Nida Mushtaq.

Remember Who Made Them

A podcast, digital campaign, and fundraiser initiated to amplify the lives and voices of garment workers during the COVID-19 pandemic. Our 6 episodes covered topics like “Solidarity is Not a T-Shirt”, “Fashion has a Racism Problem”, “Feminist Fashion: Emanicipation or Exploitation”, “Actions Make Movements”, and “Capitalism is the Virus”.

Co-led with Venetia La Manna, Swatee Deepak, and Ruby Johnson + a phenomenal group of illustrators and creatives.
